About Project 2020

Heather from Project 2020: Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland; Helped found Project 2020 in 2007 after the closure of the Union Chain Bridge due to structural concerns. Project 2020 aims to ensure the survival, maintainence and beauty of the bridge for the future. Project 2020 plan to celebrate the bi-centenary of Union Chain Bridge in 2020.
